Located at 1719 Mulberry St, Scranton, PA 18510, The Halal Brothers operates as a pan-asian restaurant serving Scranton in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Scranton is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Scranton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Google Maps treats this like a brick and mortar location. I wanted to post a review mostly to make sure people realize this is a food truck. This is NOT a bad thing. On a recent road trip to explore the area and visit the Everhart Museum, I was scouting through Google Maps to find a restaurant to eat at before visiting the Museum. I was confused when Google Maps said I drove past the location and I hadn't seen a restaurant. Located in front of the geisinger hospital, I spotted the food truck on my second pass. I love food trucks. So it was a pleasant surprise on one hand, and yet a little disappointing that I would need to find a place to sit to enjoy the food, (the reason for the four stars for atmosphere). The food was fantastic by the way. When I asked for a vegetarian option I was offered the falafel over rice which came with some fries, cut pita wedges, a small...small salad and a choice of a white sauce or a hot sauce. The white sauce was wonderful. I discovered just down the road that the parking lot for the Everhart museum is also part of Nay Aug Park, which has picnic tables to enjoy your Halal Brothers fare.... If the weather is pleasant of course.

Genuinely the best food to ever exist!!! Iβve been here so many times and each time the food & service is a 10/10. Highly, highly recommend, especially their chicken & falafel over rice with extra white and hot sauce!

This hits hard. I heard rumors about this place. Being that it was a good truck I was hesitant. All that time wasted is a damn shame. I tried it today for the first time and it was just done right. This is definitely a hidden gem of NEPA if you like Halal. I got the combo. Highly recommend!

Wow wow wow, that's delicious. That's food on point. We're traveling and happened to find these guys with great reviews and we're so glad we did, and that we took the time to stop. If we worked near this we'd be there nearly everyday-this is an amazing lunch or late night meal/snack(depending on what you get). First off it's great value-a perfectly sized meal for a perfectly reasonable price. The lamb and falafel were both flavorful and a great texture, moist. The rice was sublime-fluffy, light, flavorful; perfect rice. You get a nice refreshing salad with each rice dish and you can choose to add their awesome sauces. The only recommendation I would give that would only improve them further in my opinion would be to add just a bit more of the salad because it's just such a great balance to the meal. Thanks Halal Brothers!
